I lose my keys at least once a day. I've come to the conclusion that little Fraggles from Fraggle Rock are moving my things. It's the only thing that makes sense. No one, and I mean no one can lose things this often. I once lost my SS Card for six months. The Fraggles don't steal though, I always find the things I've lost...it's a fun game we play.

Today is operation Find This CD. I'm currently unaware where several CDs are as they are not in there cases. I think we can all agree I'm already a step ahead as I do know where the cases are. This is what I've accomplished so far in my search for the CD:

- I sat on my bed
- I proceeded to lay down on my bed
- I turned over stomach down, head on pillow and closed my eyes...of course contemplating the whereabouts of the lost item in question.
- I took a shower
- I looked at the floor in a daze. They say to remember where things are sometimes you have to do other things. Staring at the floor seemed as good a thing as any.
- I wished my hair was dry.
- I kept wishing my hair was dry but refused to do anything about it...letting nature take it's very slow course in helping me out.

Long story short I'm well on my way to finding this CD, I'm sure any moment now I will come across it.Jen Conklinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11106376118606719785noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8787817794758136146.post-85295601483363124122012-01-08T06:41:00.000-08:002012-01-08T06:41:29.034-08:002012 Week OneWell, starting off the day falling down the stairs makes it a bit difficult to type, but I shall do my best. Other than my elbow being a bit troublesome this morning I've had a great start to 2012.

A conversation that peeked the high lights: Interviewer "Do you want the job?" Me "Yes." Interviewer "It's yours." I start my new job next Monday, January 16th!

I saw my Walmart boyfriend and actually made eye contact and smiled at him. Can you imagine? Anyone I find attractive I usually avoid like the plague. This may be the single most sure reason why I'm still single. I am making progress though. Also, I had a real mini conversation with a cute guy...with actual words and such. Since I'm also something akin to a 13 year old school girl who gets embarrassed and nervous at the mere thought of talking to a male this was a good step forward.

Lastly...I have an IPhone now. Got it for free since I haven't upgraded in a very very very long time. Although I'd still be tethered to the wall with a rotary phone I will admit it is pretty schnazzy having a phone that actually works now.

All in all it was a good first go at 2012 and I only hope to build steam throughout this next week. First and foremost, ice my elbow.Jen Conklinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11106376118606719785noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8787817794758136146.post-13571161454836219402011-12-31T21:05:00.000-08:002011-12-31T21:05:39.188-08:00HAPPY NEW YEAR!Happy New Year one and all! One of my resolutions is to post once a week. I cleared this blog out and am starting from scratch. So, in one week there should be a new post...I hopefully won't fail on the resolution in a week.Jen Conklinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11106376118606719785noreply@blogger.com0
